General Information on our Privacy Policy

Xoom Web Development Solutions is committed to protecting your privacy. Our privacy policy is designed to give you more information about how 'Personally Identifiable Information' (PII) is used online. According to US privacy law and information security, PII is any information that can be used to identify, contact, or locate an individual, or to identify the individual in context.

Our privacy policy explains how we collect, use, protect, or otherwise handle your PII in accordance with our website. In order to make it easy for you to find the notice, we have included it on all of our pages.

The Information We Collect

The following notice applies to all information collected or submitted on our website. Some pages allow you to register for training, make donations, submit testimonials, and receive materials. On these pages, we collect the following personal information:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Email Address
  • Phone number
  • Other details to help you with your experience

The information you provide to XWDS may be collected during a form submission, or a Live Chat session. The site may use third-party technology to capture information you enter in form fields in real-time.

How We Use Information

Donors provide us with information about themselves when they make a donation. Other than to complete that donation, we do not disclose this information to outside parties. Whenever we respond to an email, we use the return email address. To answer calls, we use return phone numbers; such information is not shared with outside parties. To track demographic information, network impressions, and associated Display Advertising data, we use Google Analytics. Setting up for Google Ads provides you with the option to opt-out or adjust your settings for these services. If you do not elect to receive this information, we will not use the information you submit to our website for this purpose. Unless otherwise specified, we never use or share information you provide to us online in ways unrelated to those described above. If you do not wish to receive such unrelated information, we offer you the opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit its use.

Our Data Security Commitment

A regular scan of our website is performed to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure that information is used appropriately. In addition, we implement various security measures when a user donates. We do not disclose user information to third parties. Alternatively, you can turn off all cookies, or have your computer warn you every time a cookie is sent. This can be done through your browser's settings. The correct way to modify your cookies depends on your browser. Look in the Help Menu of your browser to find out how to do it. It is possible that some features that make your site experience more efficient may not function properly if you turn off cookies. Without advance notice, we do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any of your PII to outside parties. Our hosting partners and other third parties who assist us with our website, business, or user services are not included. As long as the parties agree to keep the information confidential, this can be done. Information may also be released in order to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our rights or property. A visitor's non-personally identifiable information may, however, be disclosed for marketing or advertising purposes. To compile data regarding user interactions with ad impressions and other ad service functions as they relate to our website, we use first-party cookies (such as Google Analytics cookies) as well as third-party cookies (such as DoubleClick cookies) and other third-party identifiers together.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

Under 13-year-olds are not specifically targeted by our marketing. Under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), parents are in control when collecting personal information from children under 13. Consumer protection agency, the Federal Trade Commission, enforces the COPPA Rule. To protect children's privacy and safety online, website operators must follow this guide.

Opting out and Do Not Track signals

You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you on the Google Ad Settings page. If you would like to opt out, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out page or install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser add-on. When a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is enabled, we honor Do Not Track signals and do not plant cookies or display advertising.
